This week long training course prepares attendees for the Class 3 and/or Class 4 Water Treatment provincial exams. The exam sessions are held on the Friday of the week long session. Although not essential it is recommended all attendees have passed the Class 2 exams in the subjects and have a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience operating a Class 2 or higher facility. This course is fast paced and attendees are required to be experienced and ready to work hard!

Description

This intensive four-day course provides advanced theoretical training in the operation and management of larger water treatment facilities. Designed for experienced operators seeking higher levels of certification, the program builds on the knowledge gained in Levels 1 and 2 while expanding into more complex treatment processes and operational challenges.

Participants will explore workplace safety, advanced operational mathematics, treatment plant systems, process optimization, operator certification requirements, administrative responsibilities, and the role of microbiology in water treatment operations.

Designed to prepare participants for the Saskatchewan Level 3 and Level 4 Water Treatment certification exams, this course uses the AWWA Level 3 & 4 Water Treatment Manual alongside practical examples, supplementary handouts, and review quizzes to reinforce learning and build confidence for exam success.

Electronic examinations are available for participants who wish to receive their results immediately upon completing their exam session.
