Description
This comprehensive four-day course provides the foundational theoretical knowledge required to operate and maintain smaller wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems.
Participants will explore workplace safety, basic mathematics, lagoon operations, fundamental mechanical systems, regulations, operator certification requirements, administrative responsibilities, and the role of microbiology in wastewater treatment processes.
Designed to prepare participants for the Saskatchewan Level 1 Wastewater Treatment and Level 1 Wastewater Collection certification exams, this course combines the AWWOA training manual with practical learning materials, supplementary handouts, and review quizzes to reinforce learning and build confidence for exam success.
