Description
This comprehensive four-day course introduces the fundamental concepts of water treatment and water distribution systems, with a focus on the operation of smaller water treatment facilities and distribution networks.
Participants will explore workplace safety, basic mathematics, water treatment processes, distribution systems, operator certification requirements, administrative responsibilities, and the role of microbiology in water treatment operations.
Designed to prepare participants for the Saskatchewan Level 1 Water Treatment and Level 1 Water Distribution certification exams, this course combines the AWWOA training manual with practical examples, supplementary handouts, and review quizzes to reinforce learning and build confidence for exam success.
