Dawn Dierker, B.Sc. CHSC
Dawn Dierker has 17 years of experience in water and wastewater operations. Her previous water and wastewater experience included positions at Class 4 water and wastewater treatment plants and laboratories. Prior to this, she worked 12 years for SaskPower in both operations and analytical chemistry labs. Dawn has an Honours Diploma in Biological Sciences from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan.
She is a certified Health and Safety Consultant and certified Class 3 in Water Treatment and Class 2 in Wastewater Treatment. Dawn has fulfilled many roles in a variety of professional organizations including: President of Western Canada Water (WCW), Chair of Western Canada Section of the American Water Works Association (WCSAWWA), past Education Chair for the WCSAWWA and volunteer instructor and course developer for the Saskatchewan First Nations Water Operators Association.
In her personal life she is the mother to two teen girls, their horses and a golden doodle. She enjoys travelling with her family to High School Rodeos, Jackpots and other horse events. During the winter months she can be found drinking a coffee, with her husband, in a hockey rink somewhere in the province.
